The Museum
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame sits on the shore of Lake Erie in downtown Cleveland, and it is better than you think it is. Six floors of exhibits, artifacts, and interactive experiences that trace the evolution of rock, hip-hop, R&B, and everything in between.
What to know:
Build the Weekend
Friday Night — West 25th Street
The West Side Market closes at 4 PM, but the neighborhood around it — Ohio City — comes alive at night. Great Lakes Brewing Company is the anchor. Bar Cento serves the best pizza in the city.
Saturday — The Museum + The Flats
Hit the Hall of Fame during the day. In the evening, walk to The Flats East Bank — Cleveland's revitalized waterfront entertainment district on the Cuyahoga River. Restaurants, bars, and views of the city skyline reflecting off the water.
Sunday — Tremont Brunch
Lucky's Cafe for brunch. Local ingredients, homemade everything, and a neighborhood that feels like it was designed for Sunday morning walks.
Cleveland is a weekend trip that surprises everyone who takes it. The Rock Hall is the excuse. The city is the discovery.
