Las Vegas is a 4-hour drive or 1-hour flight from Los Angeles, where SoFi Stadium hosts World Cup matches including a Quarterfinal. Vegas doesn't host matches but it might be the best base for a multi-day World Cup experience.
Why Vegas Works
Entertainment capital — World Cup watch parties on the Strip will be massive
Hotel value — More rooms and more competitive pricing than LA during the tournament
Flight hub — Easy connections from everywhere in the US
The drive — I-15 to LA is a straight shot through the desert. Leave early, avoid traffic.
Vegas Watch Party Spots
Circa Resort — The world's largest sportsbook screen (3 stories). This is the place.
The LINQ Promenade — Outdoor screenings with Strip views
Mandalay Bay Beach — Beach-style watch parties
Resorts World — Modern resort with massive LED walls
