Super Bowl LX arrives in February 2027, and the host city announcement will define the travel plans of millions. Regardless of location, the formula is the same: the game is Sunday, but the experience starts Thursday.
What Makes Super Bowl Weekend Different
This is not a sporting event with some parties attached. This is a four-day cultural takeover where the NFL, corporate America, the music industry, and nightlife converge in a single city. The game itself is almost secondary to everything surrounding it.
The Typical Schedule
Thursday — Arrival & Setup
The city transforms. Hotels triple their rates. Restaurants add special menus. The first wave of parties begins — usually brand activations and media events.
Friday — Day Parties & Concerts
The NFL Fan Experience opens. Bud Light, Maxim, and Sports Illustrated host competing mega-parties. These are ticketed events with performances from A-list artists.
Saturday — The Peak
The biggest party night of the weekend. This is when Shaq's Fun House, Fanatics events, and private dinners happen simultaneously. Every nightclub in the city programs their best.
Sunday — Game Day
Tailgates start at sunrise. The stadium experience is electric regardless of your team allegiance. After the game, the winning team's celebration takes over whatever club has the contract.
