New York City will host the World Cup Final on July 19. The entire city will be transformed into a global fan zone for the last two weeks of the tournament.
Top Watch Party Spots
Times Square (Giant Screens)
Times Square will almost certainly host massive outdoor screenings for the Semifinals and Final. The existing digital billboards provide natural infrastructure for watch events. Expect hundreds of thousands of people. Get there hours early for the Final.
FIFA Fan Festival (Location TBD)
FIFA will host an official Fan Festival — likely in Central Park, along the Hudson River waterfront, or at Randalls Island. These festivals are free with registration and run throughout the tournament.
Hudson Yards / The Vessel Area
The outdoor plaza at Hudson Yards is a natural screening venue. Multiple restaurants and bars in the complex will host watch events.
Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Berry Park (rooftop), Output Brooklyn, and The Ides at the Wythe Hotel are all prime spots. Williamsburg has a strong soccer culture — expect packed venues for every match.
Astoria, Queens
The most diverse neighborhood in NYC and arguably the best place to watch group-stage matches. Greek, Colombian, Mexican, and Balkan bars will each have their own national team energy. Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden is the standout venue.
Smithfield Hall (Midtown)
NYC's most dedicated soccer bar. Every match will be shown. Reservations required for knockout rounds.
